Boat, Palm Wine, Moon, Poem, and Miss You.

On the boat along Chatomuk river,
I drink Mekong Palm Sparkling,
Watching at the moonshine in the sky,
But it’s not as bright as your smile.

On the boat, in the middle of the river,
I can see the panorama view of Phnom Penh,
The gentle breeze touches my body,
As soft as your words run deep into my heart , baby!

Remember the Pchum Ben time…

Remember when
We were together during Pchum Ben,
You made food and dessert to pagodas,
Praying to ancestors supposedly pretas.

Remember when
We were together during Pchum Ben,
You looked charming with Khmer Phamuong and Pak,
You were like an angel carrying that Chan Srak.

Remember when
We were together during Pchum Ben,
We offered some money to parents and relatives,
They granted blessings and wishes we wanted to achieve.Remember when
We were together during Pchum Ben,
We lit candle and incense in front of Buddha statue,
We prayed, we swore we’d stick together till our backs bow.

Remember when
We were together during Pchum Ben,
We made sand hills together in the rain,
Wishing we would be couple this life, next life again and again…

Remember when
We were together during Pchum Ben,
We listened to suttas chanted by monks,
“Everying is mortal, Everything is Anijang”.

Remember when
we were happy during Pchum Ben,
Miss the old days, miss the old we,
“Anijang”, “meeting and separation” … set by destiny.
